Child Safety Standards

Last Updated: May 10, 2026  ·  Effective Date: May 10, 2026

Init has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This page describes our standards, preventive measures, and reporting mechanisms.

1. Our Commitment

Init is a mutual interest matching platform strictly for adults aged 18 and older. The protection of children from sexual abuse, exploitation, and grooming is a non-negotiable commitment. We maintain clear standards, enforce them rigorously, and cooperate fully with law enforcement when CSAE is reported or detected.

These standards apply to all users, all content shared on Init, and all conduct facilitated through Init — including messages, profile information, and linked social media accounts.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Init and will result in immediate, permanent account termination and referral to law enforcement:

There are no exceptions or second chances for violations in this category. Accounts found to be in violation are permanently banned and reported to the relevant authorities.

3. Age Verification

Init requires all users to be 18 years of age or older. Age is verified at registration:

If we become aware that a user is under 18, we immediately terminate their account, delete all associated data, and take any additional steps required by applicable law.

4. Detection and Enforcement

Init employs the following measures to prevent and detect CSAE:

5. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Init allows users to report child safety concerns directly in the app. Reports are treated as urgent and reviewed as a priority.

How to report in-app

If you encounter content or conduct that you believe involves the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child:

Report by email

You may also email us directly at connect@initmatch.com — include as much detail as possible (usernames, screenshots, description of the conduct).

We do not tolerate retaliation against users who make good-faith reports.

Report to national authorities

You may also report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) directly to your national reporting centre:

6. Law Enforcement Cooperation

Init cooperates fully and promptly with law enforcement agencies investigating CSAE. This includes:
