Short version: We do not use cookies. The Init app uses no cookies, tracking pixels, or advertising technologies. Our website uses only browser localStorage to remember your theme preference.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, or to track behaviour for analytics and advertising purposes.
2. The Init App — No Cookies
The Init mobile application (Android and iOS) does not use cookies of any kind. The App does not contain:
- Advertising or tracking SDKs
- Third-party analytics libraries (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel)
- Marketing pixels or beacons
- Cross-app tracking technologies
Authentication in the App is handled via JWT tokens stored in secure device storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) — not cookies.
3. This Website (initmatch.com) — localStorage Only
Our marketing website at initmatch.com does not set any cookies. However, it does use browser localStorage — a similar technology that stores small pieces of data in your browser, but is never transmitted to our servers and has no expiry date beyond when you manually clear your browser data.
We use localStorage for one purpose only:

This data is stored locally on your device only. It is never shared with us, never used for tracking, and never combined with any other data about you.
4. Third-Party Cookies
We do not load any third-party scripts, fonts served via third-party CDNs that set cookies, advertising networks, or social media widgets on this website.
We do load fonts from Google Fonts via a stylesheet link. Google Fonts does not set cookies and does not track individual users. See Google Fonts Privacy FAQ for details.
5. How to Clear localStorage
If you wish to clear the theme preference stored by our website, you can do so through your browser settings:
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files / Site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Clearing this data will reset your theme to the default (Light) on your next visit.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce cookies or additional tracking technologies, we will update this policy and notify App users via an in-app notification before doing so. We are committed to not introducing advertising trackers or third-party analytics without clear disclosure.
